BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo chocolate shop announced Friday that it will close at the end of the year.
The Sweet Whisk on Chandler Street — which offered chocolate bars and bonbons, brownies, macarons, crème brûlée, cupcakes, and other sweet treats — announced in a letter that it will permanently close on Dec. 31.
"We want to express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support and loyalty over the past five years," the owners told customers in an email. "Although it saddens us to say goodbye, we are immensely proud of what we have accomplished together. Without you, that would not have been possible."
The Sweet Whisk will offer special promotions and discounts during the next couple months as the owners prepare to close the shop at 27 Chandler St.
"We sincerely thank you for being a part of our journey and for allowing us to be a part of your lives," the owners said. "It has been a privilege to serve you, and we hope to see you one last time at The Sweet Whisk.
"Together, let's make these final months unforgettable."
