Amherst pizzeria closes again -- this time for good

The Maple Road was the last location to remain open for the company, which got its start 20 years ago.

AMHERST, N.Y. — Zetti’s Pizza & Pasta has called it quits for good.

The pizzeria at 4621 Maple Road in Amherst was shut down twice last year after seizures by state officials for nonpayment of taxes. This time is for good, according to owner John Fusco, who confirmed the closure during a brief phone call.

It appears the site won’t remain vacant for long: Landlord Benderson Development is already getting calls about the space adjacent to the University at Buffalo’s North Campus.
