BUFFALO, N.Y. — Erie County Medical Center is investing $2 million to create a center focused on breast health and expand its interventional pain program.

ECMC’s Comprehensive Breast Health Center will be created on the first floor of the Grider Street hospital, offering patients a full continuum of care under one roof.

Renovations will create a mammography suite, another for bone density screening with a DEXA machine, a patient waiting lounge, dressing rooms and consulting areas.
