ANGOLA, N.Y. — A popular Halloween attraction is back for the season. EverHaunt Haunted House has seen a lot of visitors since they opened for the season on Oct. 5.
Founder Kevin Donovan, said, "it started off as a Halloween party back in 2014 for a friend fighting cancer. It grew and grew and grew. We actually traveled the country to learn from some of the best haunted house owners, got a whole bunch of stuff, and decided that it was time to do something bigger."
But this attraction is way more than scares. They put their community first.
"It's also about making a lasting impact on our local communities," Donovan said. "We work with Kids Escaping Drugs, Operation Good Neighbor, Connect Life, and so on and so forth. We're always trying to make a difference as well. Those two things are what drive what we do."
They will continue partnering with those several charities this season.
There will be a number of new experiences this year, including the Cure of the Mummy escape room, the Triage simulation experience, and the Delaware Creek Horror Bootique, according to Donovan.
The attraction will be open every weekend in October, including Halloween Night.
