NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. — The Niagara County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly crash, which happened Tuesday afternoon in the Town of Cambria.
Deputies say Robert Knibbs, 49, was hit by a garbage truck in front of his house on Cambria-Wilson Road at 12:30 p.m. Knibbs was pronounced dead on the scene.
The operator of the garbage truck was uninjured.
Deputies are still investigating how the accident happened, and they don't know at this time if anyone is going to be charged.
