The incident happened at the intersection of Delaware and Virginia just after 11 a.m.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A woman was hit by a vehicle in downtown Buffalo Tuesday morning when she was trying to cross the street with her child, according to the Buffalo Police Department.

The incident happened just after 11 a.m. when a driver was trying to make a left turn from Virginia Street onto Delaware Avenue. Police say a 32-year-old mother was crossing the street with her 9-month-old daughter in a stroller when the driver hit them.
