BUFFALO, N.Y. — Developer Douglas Jemal is negotiating to acquire the Mansion on Delaware Avenue, a 28-room luxury hotel.

Jemal confirmed he is in talks to buy the hotel that operates inside one of the city’s best-known former private residences at 414 Delaware Ave. Negotiations are expected to be done within the next week. Terms were not disclosed.

Diana Principe, who co-owns the hotel along with her husband, Geno, and the late Dennis Murphy, confirmed that Jemal will buy it.
