VARYSBURG, NY - The muddy clean-up continued Thursday in Wyoming County where the annual Jam in the Valley music festival is scheduled to take place this weekend.

Heavy rains caused nearby creeks to overflow into the campground on Wednesday.

A volunteer worker at the event says organizers were cleared to bring people back in on Thursday and they are doing everything they can to help the concert-goers out.

"The Wyoming County emergency coordinator and the health department closed the loading of campsites due to the floodwaters. We were given the okay this morning to reopen and at this point we are just dealing with the mud the best we can."

Despite the mess the event is on schedule.

The Jam in the Valley show runs now through the July 4th. It features several big country acts and a fireworks show.
