BUFFALO, NY-- Bills' center Eric Wood has suffered a career-ending neck injury.

The story was first reported on Friday morning by SCOUT Fantasy Sports on Twitter.

Wood took to Twitter Friday afternoon to explain his injury:

Eric Wood is one of the longest-tenured Bills. He's been with the team for nine seasons after being drafted out of Louisville and is known for doing a lot of work off the field as well. Since his announcement, fans have been donating to the Eric Wood Fund

Wood will address the media on Monday afternoon at the Bills facility along with head coach Sean McDermott and General Manager Brandon Beane.
