UB's Nate Oats named MAC Coach of the Year

Oats is now just the second UB head coach to win the award.

BUFFALO, NY - In just his third year as head coach, UB's Nate Oats was named MAC coach of the year after one of the program's most successful seasons.

Oats led the Bulls to a 23-8 overall record (15-3 in conference play) while winning the MAC Regular Season title outright for the first time in school history.

The Bulls also had a league-high five players make All-MAC Teams.

UB opens the MAC tournament against Central Michigan on Thursday, March 8th in Cleveland.
