CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — The Visiting Nursing Association of Western New York (VNA), the largest home health agency in the area, has found a new home at 650 Airborne Parkway in Cheektowaga.

The new 45,000 square feet office space will welcome 200 employees, who previously were split among three separate buildings on Wehrle Drive.

A new cafe, state-of-the-art video teleconferencing and "touch down" work spaces for 350 clinicians who come to the office after being out with patients, will help accommodate the VNA's growth and goals.

"With everyone now under one roof, we can streamline workflows and work more efficiently — which only means good things for our staff, patients and our community," said Judy Baumgartner, president of the VNA.

The building also features 10 conference rooms and an infusion pharmacy twice the size of the VNA's previous one. Staff were encouraged throughout the construction and move to voice their ideas, test furniture and participate in surveys about the new office.

"As the healthcare landscape continues to shift toward outpatient and home care, we are so proud of the VNA family for their achievements in providing best-in-class home health care,"said Jody Lomeo, president and CEO of Kaleida Health. "With their new office space, we are confident they will be even better equipped to continue growing and leading the home care industry."

The VNA, a Kaleida Health Affiliate, has been serving ten counties of Western New York since 1885, and was the first visiting nursing association in the United States.
