BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Police are attempting to learn more after a man's body was recovered from the Buffalo River on Thursday afternoon.
South District officers and the Buffalo Police Underwater Recovery Team were called to the 200 block of Ohio Street around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, following a report of a dead body. The recovery team eventually pulled a man's body from the water.
Erie County medical examiners will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death, according to a city spokesperson.
No other details were available as of Thursday evening.
