BUFFALO, N.Y. — Crews were called to the scene of a fire on Buffalo's East Side early Thursday morning.
The call came around 4 a.m.
The fire started in a car at 244 Purdy Street before spreading to the neighboring homes.
Those inside the house were able to make it out safely.
No word yet on what caused the fire, investigators will remain on the scene throughout the morning.
