Buffalo SWAT takes man into custody after shots fired call

The Buffalo SWAT team got called out to Tacoma Avenue between Camden and Delaware after reports of shots fired around 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A man has been arrested for causing a standoff with police in North Buffalo, according to the Buffalo Police Department.

The Buffalo SWAT team got called out to Tacoma Avenue between Camden and Delaware after reports of shots fired around 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Police say Vincent Devinger, 52, barricaded himself inside a home with a gun.

Devinger has been charged with weapons possession, reckless endangerment, obstruction and other counts.

Buffalo Police say no one was hurt.
