Buffalo Museum of Science
11 a.m.-2:30 p.m.: The Museum is celebrating National Engineering Week with different hands-on events each day. For a full list of events, visit their website.
Buffalo History Museum
1 p.m.-3 p.m.: The kids can "Break Out" of their house and come to the History Museum. They are hosting activities for history buffs.
Buffalo and Erie County Central Library
8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.: The library is home to an exhibit called "Buffalo Never Fails." It emphasizes Buffalo's role in World War I.
Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum
12 p.m.-4 p.m.: The Factory Museum is usually closed for the season but opens just this week for "STEM week." Visitors can make "Rube Goldberg machines" which are machines that use a chain reaction to complete a very simple task.
Holimont Ski Resort
8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesday: The Ski Resort is hosting the 20th annual Kids Escaping Drugs Skiscape Tuesday. It benefits the programs at KED.
Buffalo Zoo
8 a.m.-5 p.m.: The Zoo is hosting Polar Bear Days through February 28. Take the kids to meet Luna and Sakari!
Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens
6 p.m.-9 p.m.: "Lumagination" is still lighting up the botanical gardens through February 24. Check out the way the gardens are transformed with light.
Albright Knox Art Gallery
10 a.m.-5 p.m.: The Art Gallery opened a new exhibit called "We Wanted a Revolution: Black Radical Woman, 1965-85" this past weekend, focusing on the work of black women artists.
