BUFFALO, N.Y. — A West Seneca man who was previously convicted of child sex abuse was sentenced to prison for possessing child pornography.
Justin Wheeler, 27, was sentenced in federal court.
Because of his previous conviction, Wheeler will spend the next 10 years in prison for possessing child pornography involving a prepubescent minor.
Wheeler was on parole for a 2013 conviction for sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl when State Police conducted a search of his home as part of a court order.
Troopers seized a cellphone from Wheeler's bedroom and discovered it contained 90 images and 269 videos of child pornography.
