BUFFALO, N.Y. — A 49-year-old Niagara Falls man faces 9-18 years behind bars after being found guilty of finessing over $10,000 of inventory from three local stores.

During the summer of 2017, Randall McGovern placed orders for products from Dunn Tire/Exxpress Tire Delivery, Shanor Electric Supply Inc. and McCarthy Tire. After placing the orders over the phone, he'd bill the inventory to an unknowing third party before the product was delivered directly to McGovern.

McGovern was charged in April and an Erie County Court jury convicted him on all five of those counts.
