CHEEKTOWAGA, NY -- Cheektowaga residents voiced concerns about a proposed cell tower Tuesday night.
The newest proposal puts the tower on vacant, town-owned land along Transit Road near Madeira Drive.
Developers have suggested multiple location, each raising their own concerns.
"We're gonna get stuck with a cell phone tower in this area whether we want it or not," said one resident.
Another commented, "There's money being exchanged to get this cell tower where it is, and we all know it. So, we're just the little guy."
The tower has also been considered for the South-line Little League fields, a few blocks west of Transit, plus Stiglmeier Park, and a library.
