Buffalo Barks celebrates 5-year anniversary with adoption event

As part of Sunday's birthday party, Buffalo Barks in Tonawanda partnered with Awesome Paws Rescue and Queen City Pitties.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The five-year anniversary for a unique business happened Sunday for the Buffalo Barks dog cafe in Tonawanda.

Buffalo Barks is a doggie daycare, overnight boarding, and a groomer.

As part of Sunday's birthday party, Buffalo Barks partnered with Awesome Paws Rescue and Queen City Pitties Animal Rescue for an adoption event.

"What we do, is we foster dogs from both of those groups at our facility and we try to find them homes," said David Vanini, the owner of Buffalo Barks.

"So we give back to the community of the dog community, because that's what we do. We're big animal lovers, and more specifically, dog lovers."

Many loyal customers love Buffalo Barks, because it has employee sleeping quarters, meaning someone will always be on hand with the pups while they stay there.
