Technical glitch delays sale of Billy Joel tickets

Ticketmaster couldn't process orders for the Piano Man's concert when they first went on sale.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Tickets to Billy Joel's New Era Field concert went on sale to American Express cardholders early Monday morning, but some of them still couldn't get their seats.

According to LiveNation, a technical error delayed the American Express presale, making some fans unable to buy tickets.

The error has now been resolved and American Express cardholders can complete their purchases through Ticketmaster.com without any issues.

Non-American Express cardholders can buy tickets to the August 15th show starting Friday at 10 a.m.
