BUFFALO, N.Y. — Seeing the exuberant red of the Poinsettia is a surefire sign that it's the holiday season.
The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens is giving everybody a chance to feel the holiday spirit with their Poinsettia & Railway Exhibit, which is open until January 5.
Though bright red is the most common color around the holidays, this exhibit offers the chance to see rare versions of the Poinsettia, including lime green and apricot colored plants.
Tickets to the botanical gardens are $12.50 for adults, $11 for seniors and students and $7 for kids between the ages of 3 and 12. Kids two and under get in free. The Poinsettia exhibit is included in regular admission.
