Buffalo Bills superfan Pancho Billa spotted on 'The Simpsons'

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills fans recognized a familiar face in the latest episode of "The Simpsons."

Sunday's episode titled "The Fat Blue Line," featured a quick cameo of Buffalo Bills superfan Pancho Billa, which did not go unnoticed.

The picture can be seen when the character Chief Wiggum is looking at his bulletin board with the title "Wiggum's Mistakes." Some viewers noticed that towards the bottom of the board hangs a photo that shares a close resemblance to the beloved Bills Mafia figure.

Ezra Castro, better known as Pancho Billa, was a lifelong Bills fan who fought a long battle against pancreatic cancer and died in May at the age of 39.

This seemingly subtle nod to the Bills Mafia comes with better light, after The Simpsons released an episode in April where Homer Simpson sings a song, which focuses on the negative aspects of "upstate" New York.
