WNY celebrates Dyngus Day

An estimate of 30,000+ came out the parade, with roughly 60,000 total for the parade and post parade events, according to Police.

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Western New Yorkers celebrated Dyngus Day in Buffalo Monday!

Buffalo is the capital of the world when it comes to celebrating the Polish-American holiday, with lots of different festivities to partake in.

The 12th Annual Dyngus Day parade stepped off at 5 p.m. in front of Corpus Christi Church in Buffalo's Polonia district.

Buffalo Police say an estimate of over 30,000 came out the parade, with roughly 60,000 total for the parade and post parade events at the Central Terminal and around Buffalo.

The parade down Broadway was followed by a night of live music and dancing.
