State of Emergency in Erie County is over

A State of Emergency is over for Erie County.

HAMBURG, N.Y. — Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz declared a State of Emergency for Erie County that began Wednesday afternoon and ended on Thursday.

The County Executive also says the Travel Advisory for Northern Erie County has ended.

The County also says Meals on Wheels will be operating Friday.

Lt. Governor Kathy Hochul says there have been more than 120 accidents in Western New York and 200 tickets have been given to truck drivers that ignored the travel ban.
