Cherry Blossom Festival ends Sunday

Sunday is the last day of the annual Cherry Blossom Festival in Delaware Park.

BUFFALO, NY — If you haven't checked out the 5th annual Cherry Blossom Festival yet, there's still one more day of activities to enjoy with the family.

In fact, Sunday is Family Day, with kid-friendly fun lined up all afternoon.

Starting at noon, the festival will take place both inside the Buffalo History Museum, and outside, in the Japanese Garden in Delaware Park.

At 12:30 p.m., kids can watch "The Bamboo Princess," a Japanese fairytale puppet show.

Then at 2 p.m., there will be traditional Japanese Folk puppetry, featuring Kuruma Ningyo puppetry.

And finally at 3 p.m., the "Pink Parade" will wrap up the 2018 Cherry Blossom Festival.

All proceeds raised by the festival benefit the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy so they can care for the Japanese Garden.
