BUFFALO, N.Y. — A couple of rounds of storms rolled through Western New York on Monday, both bringing heavy rain, lightning and some isolated wind damage.

A National Weather Service employee reported downed trees in East Aurora around 2:45 p.m.

A WGRZ viewer reported 1.50" of rain within a 40 minute period near Orchard Park.

Estimated wind gusts with this afternoon's line of storms were in the 55 to 60 mph range. Storms also moved along very quickly, limiting the window of opportunity for the severe weather and flooding threat overall.
