BUFFALO, N.Y. — Today will be colder and breezy, but winds then won't compare much to what's possible Sunday.

A storm will help generate widespread rain and potentially strong to damaging winds Sunday afternoon through early Monday morning. Gusts could potentially reach 60 mph across Western New York.

Following its passage, temperatures will fall and rain will turn the snow showers into early next week.

This system could be followed quickly by another for the middle of next week.
