BUFFALO, NY - We know it's been a bizarre year weather-wise, and here's just another example of that: There will be skiing and golfing open on the same day this weekend, and even at the same location!
Holiday Valley announced Wednesday it will be open one more weekend, April 13 and 14 for skiing...and will also open its golf course starting on the 13th.
A spokesperson there says only the Yodeler ski lift will be open, with approximately 10 slopes open. Ski rentals will not available.
Holiday Valley will open 9 holes of the golf course with FREE golf through April 19, walking only (no carts).
And this weekend some other golf courses will be opening for the season, including Bryncliff Golf Resort.
Back to skiing a moment, Holimont will be open for one last ski day Saturday for members and invited guests, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:20 p.m.
As of this Sunday, the ski areas will be closed for the season.
