Breezy and Cooler into Monday

Winds peaked to near 60 mph on Sunday.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Temperatures are dropping and the winds are decreasing some overnight but still breezy into Monday, wind gusts up to 30 to 35mph.

Some peak wind gusts reported on Sunday from the National Weather Service Buffalo Office: Buffalo Airport 57mph, Batavia 57mph, Warsaw 56mph, Dunkirk Airport and Niagara Falls Airport 55mph, East Aurora 51mph, and Wellsville Airport 47mph.  The wind gusts caused some power outages Sunday with reports of power lines down and power outages in places such as Hamburg and Westfield.

Monday will be breezy and cloudy with a few snow showers possible and highs in the mid to lower 30s.
