Heather’s Weather Whys: Celebrating 100 episodes!

From Lake Erie’s off influences to the real definition of the polar vortex, it has been a fun two years of “being a geek” about Western New York’s weather.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Call it cliche, but time really does fly when you’re having fun. This week marks two whole years of weekly Heather’s Weather Whys; 100 total episodes!

Weather Whys has covered everything and anything Western New York weather. That means lots of talk about lake effect snow, the lake breeze and our beautiful, sunny summers and why those things are the way they are. And of course, Heather covered everyone's favorite winter weather villain, the polar vortex!
