DUNKIRK, N.Y. — The City of Dunkirk has lifted the travel advisory that was put in place Wednesday morning due to the large amount of snow over the last 24-hours.

The city is asking people to use caution on the roads this morning, allow plenty of space between vehicles and plan for extra time to get to final destinations.

City officials are also reminding people to adhere to regular alternate parking rules.

Storm Team 2's Patrick Hammer says that the Dunkirk area received about 10-12 inches of snow over the last 24-hours. That's on top of the snow earlier in the week. The Chautauqua County Sheriff's office says roads are snow-covered and slick countywide.
