CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — Weekday direct flight service between Buffalo and Albany could resume later this year.

Sources at the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority said talks are underway with Southern Airways Express to begin service between the two cities.

If the deal is completed, it will be the first direct service between Buffalo and Albany since OneJet abruptly ended its brief run two years ago when the company filed for bankruptcy. You can read more on Buffalo Business First's website
