Town of Tonawanda and Kenmore push back winter parking ban to Dec. 15

Both municipalities will starts winter parking restrictions on Dec. 15 instead of Dec. 1.

TONAWANDA, N.Y. — While the Town of Tonawanda had previously stated they would not be pushing back the implementation of the winter parking ban again after it was pushed back to Dec. 1, the continued mild winter weather has caused the town to decide to push back the overnight parking ban once again.

On Tuesday, the Town of Tonawanda and the Village of Kenmore announced the winter parking ban has been pushed back from Dec. 1 to Dec. 15.

However, the Town of Tonawanda asks residents to use common sense and remove vehicles from the road if there is significant snowfall before Dec. 15 so the town highway plows can clear the streets.
