TONAWANDA, N.Y. — One of the largest Western New York Memorial Day parades is taking place at 11 a.m.
The Ken-Ton parade will start in the Town of Tonawanda on Delaware Avenue and continue to the Village of Kenmore, and turns to end on Elmwood Avenue.
The parade will feature bands, fire departments, service organizations and dance groups.
The parade honors veterans and active military members while remembering those who lost their lives in service for our country.
With the parade, Elmwood Avenue will be closed form Washington Avenue to Kenmore Avenue and Delaware will be closed from Kenmore Avenue to Sheridan Drive. These closures will start at 10 a.m. and run until 1:30 p.m.
