The Buffalo Sabres have suspended center Patrik Berglund indefinitely for not reporting to the team.
The move was announced on Twitter Saturday morning. The tweet stated that no other information would be announced at this time.
Berglund was acquired by the Sabres in a July trade with St. Louis that saw center Ryan O'Reilly go to the Blues.
Bergulnd, 30, has played in 23 games for the Sabres and scored two goals and recorded two assists. The center was a first round pick of the Blues in 2006.
The move comes as the Sabres (19-9-4) prepare to play the Washington Capitals on Saturday night. Faceoff in Washington is 7 p.m.
