Players Want to Share in Growth of NLL

The National Lacrosse League and its Players Association are at odds over money. The league has already wiped out the first two weeks of play.

BUFFALO, NY-While talks continue between the National Lacrosse League and the Players Association the league has already canceled the first two weekends of play.

The issue is of course money. The league claims expenses are going up substantially without new revenue streams to pay for them. The players say they want to share in the league's growth and it should be done in all phases not just with increased attendance as the league has proposed.

Jason Jaros stopped by Channel 2 Friday and spoke with WGRZ-TV Sports Director Adam Benigni.

The Buffalo Bandits had scheduled an open practice for Saturday November 17 but it too has been canceled.
