Buffalo Sabres training camp starts September 13

The Buffalo Sabres announced that training camp for the 2018-19 season will begin September 13.

BUFFALO, NY-- Now that summer is coming to an end, it's time for hockey season to begin.

The Buffalo Sabres announced that training camp for the 2018-19 season will begin September 13. Practices at Harborcenter will be open to the public.

Here is the schedule:

Thursday, September 13:

Players report for testing and physicals. (Closed to public)

Friday, September 14

Session one: 9:45 – 10:20 a.m. (New Wave Energy Rink) / 10:25 – 11:15 a.m. (KeyBank Rink)

Session two: 11:45 a.m. – 12:20 p.m. (New Wave Energy Rink) / 12:25 – 1:15 p.m. (KeyBank Rink)

Saturday, September 15

Session one: 9:45 – 10:20 a.m. (New Wave Energy Rink) / 10:25 – 11:15 a.m. (KeyBank Rink)

Session two: 11:45 a.m. – 12:20 p.m. (New Wave Energy Rink) / 12:25 – 1:15 p.m. (KeyBank Rink)

Sunday, September 16

Practice: 9:45 – 10:15 a.m. (Both rinks)

Scrimmage: 10:30 – 11:15 a.m. (KeyBank Rink)

The Sabres' first preseason game will be Monday, September 17 in Columbus against the Blue Jackets. Their first preseason home game will be Tuesday, September 18 against the Pittsburgh Penguins at the KeyBank Center.
