CLEVELAND, OH - There's now another factor that could play into the Bills quarterback competition. A.J. McCarron left Friday's preseason game against the Browns with a right shoulder injury.
Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News reports McCarron suffered a hairline fracture of the collarbone in the first quarter.
McCarron was not on the Bills sideline in the second half and the Bills announced the injury in the fourth quarter.
He started the game and went 3/6 for 12 yards and had four straight three and outs in the first quarter. Josh Allen replaced him in the second quarter.
