CLEVELAND, OH - All eyes are once again on the quarterbacks in the Bills second preseason game. Training camp is over and they still don't know who will be their starter. A.J. McCarron, Nathan Peterman or Josh Allen have done anything to separate themselves from the others. So the QB battle continues in game two tonight. Below is our quarter by quarter recap.

First quarter:

Browns lead the Bills, 7-0.

So far it has not been a good start for A.J. McCarron who started for the Bills at quarterback tonight. The Bills started with four straight three and outs. The second one McCarron was sacked on the third down. McCarron went 3/6 for 12 yards. The offensive line has also struggled a lot to start the game. Overall the Bills only picked up 22 total yards of offense.

Second quarter:

Bills lead the Browns, 10-7.

Kyle Williams hurt his right leg to start the second quarter. He was down after the play surrounded by trainers and walked off under his own power but had a noticeable limp. He walked off slowly to the locker room after. Williams is dealing with a knee injury and did not return after that.

Josh Allen came in with 11:47 left in the second quarter with the first team offense still out there. McCarron went 3/6 for 12 yards. He was also sacked for a loss of 7 yards. In that time the Bills did not gain a first down and only gained 22 yards of total offense.

Allen's first drive was 15 plays, 80 yards and time of possession 7:52. He capped it off with a beautiful play. Allen avoided the rush, and found Rod Streater in the end zone for the two yard touchdown. That was an impressive way to end his first drive.

From one first round pick to another, number one overall pick Baker Mayfield came in next for the Browns at quarterback. Tyrod Taylor finished 4/7 for 22 yards against his former team.

Marcus Murphy is having a solid game once again. He ended the second quarter with and even had a big punt return for 39 yards. I'd say he's got a spot on the 53.

Josh Allen's second drive was 8 plays, 26 yards and time of possession - 1:37. It ended with a 33-yard field goal by Stephen Hauschka.

Third quarter:

Bills lead the Browns, 13-10.

Josh Allen was still in to start the second half. His third drive ended with a 53-yard field goal by Stephen Hauschka.

With 9:22 left in the third quarter, Nathan Peterman came in at quarterback. Josh Allen ends the night 9/13 for 60 yards and a touchdown. All three of Allen's series were scoring drives.

Peterman's first drive the Bills went three and out and was sacked on third down.

Both the Bills and Browns add a field goal in the third quarter.

Fourth quarter:

Browns come out to start the fourth quarter with a 65 yard scoring drive. Nick Chubb caps it off with a one-yard touchdown run. Browns are up to 164 yards on the ground now.

Nathan Peterman connected with Nick O'Leary on the Bills first drive of the fourth quarter. He found O'Leary three times for 66 yards and a touchdown.

During the second half I noticed A.J. McCarron was not on the sideline and it's because he left the game with a right shoulder injury, the Bills announced in the fourth quarter.

Peterman kneeled to end the game.

FINAL:

Bills beat the Browns, 19-17
