Why did you enter the coaching profession?

To provide motivation and tactical strategies to our student athletes and have them grow as a person by using the game an an avenue to reach goals and work hard.

What brings you the most satisfaction in coaching?

The journey of where we start to where we finish and the bonds that are created through that journey.

What were your most memorable moments in coaching high school football?

Newfane hasn’t had a winning football JV season in 8 years. Last year we went 6-2.

What is your primary role as a Jayvee Head Coach?

To prepare our athletes with the proper techniques used to become successful and to start implementing our culture.

What was the best teams you have coached?

Last year’s JV team joing from 2-6 in 2015 to 6-2 in 2016.

What were your most memorable moments in playing football?

The bond created with my teammates who I still talk to this day.

Who was your mentor?

My coaching mentors were B.B. Boudeman, Jim Conley, Charlie Hannigan, Jim Mohan, and Dick Croffit.

How many years have you coached football?

I coached varsity for 6 years when I was first hired at Newfane and now JV for 2 years. 2017 will be my 3rd year on JV.
