Observations about Championships

Sparks dominated Macks by being more physical, having speed, and playing smash mouth football throughout the game. An amazing stat is that the Sparks were 0 for 8 for 3rd down conversations and the Macks were 0-11 on conversions.

Clymer/Sherman/Panama had a 6-0 lead at the half until Swabik completed a pass to Barmore for a TD. Wolfpack’s defense was outstanding. Titans were 4 of 14 in 3rd down conversions. The loss of star RB Tyler Cleary to suspension had a huge negative impact on their offense.

Trojans recorded 53 points and 478 offensive yards to defeat the Lakemen. Tywon Wright put on an amazing display at RB with 346 yards and 5 TDs. Wilson gained 312 yards offensively led by Atlas and Westmorland. Loss of Declan Faery to injury before the game had a negative impact. The Lakemen had 4 turnovers.

Falcons had 384 yards offensively compared to the Purple Eagles 226 yards and had 4 of 5 scoring in red zone chances. Falcons dominated the clock by 29:02 to 18:58. They also shut down the Purple Eagles passing game.

Davis and Jurkowski made the big plays for the Legends. The Quakers were in Legends territory 6 times in the first half, but could only score a field goal. The Quakers only converted 4 of 15 3rd down plays. The Legends only had 1 penalty. Legends shut down Quakers rushing to 52 yards and credit goes to their defense.
