BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Elite 11 players in Week 8 of the high school football season led their teams to victory based on their outstanding impact performances. They include the following players:
Zac Boyes, Kenmore West senior QB, rushed for 105 yards, 1 TD and passed for 289 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Blue Devils' loss to the Vikings.
Jack Sharp, Orchard Park senior QB, passed for 252 yards and 4 touchdowns to spark the Quakers' win over the Engineers.
Denton Tilly, Pioneer senior DE, recorded 7 tackles, 3 sacks, 1 TFL, 4 pass knockdowns, and 3 QB pressures to lead the Panthers past the Warriors.
Aidan Ostrowski, Williamsville South junior LB, recording 14½ tackles including 7½ sacks to spark the Billies win over the Falcons.
Tra’e Hill, Pioneer junior RB, rushed for 87 yards, 1 touchdown, caught 2 passes for 54 yards and 1 TD. Hill finished with 203 all-purpose yards, including a 43 yard punt return and a 19 yards kick return in the Panthers' victory.
Antonio Corsi, St. Francis junior WR/TE, caught 9 passes for 107 yards and 1 TD to spark the Red Raiders over the Crusaders.
Jake Ritts, St. Francis junior QB, completed 21 of 31 passes for 316 yards and 3 touchdowns in the victory over Canisius.
Jaylen Butera, Jamestown sophomore RB, rushed for 119 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Red Raiders' win over Frontier.
Ben Moskala, Grand Island senior QB/DB, rushed for 146 yards, 3 touchdowns, intercepted a pass and recorded 6 tackles in the Vikings' win over the Blue Devils.
Olean came back from a 24-14 deficit and defeated Newfane on the last play of the game, a 79 yard TD pass from sophomore Railey Siluis to Gavin Kulp. The latter also recorded 7 tackles and Siluis passed for 279 yards.
Xzavier Janczylik, St. Francis senior RB/LB, rushed 30 times for 279 yards, 1 TD, and caught a touchdown pass in the Red Raiders' win over the Crusaders.
