Bills QB's Not Focused on Team's Draft Plans

McCarron, Peterman, not focused on Bills draft plans.

ORCHARD PARK, NY- Its widely believed that the Bills will acquire at least one quarterback in the NFL draft next week in Dallas. The two quarterbacks currently on the Bills roster aren't focused on the team's draft plans.

AJ McCarron said, "I can’t worry about that because it creates mental clutter for myself. If I create mental clutter for myself, then I can’t become the best player, the best teammate that I need to be for this team. Nathan Peterman said what the Bills do is out of his control. "Its all above my head. I can't control that. I know I sound redundant but I just want to get better every day."

Both are excited to have a chance to compete for the starting quarterback position. McCarron has been labeled "a bridge quarterback, or a game manager."

"I don’t worry about labels," he said. "I love playing this game, and I love being a part of the team, a great team. I’m just excited to be here."

Peterman said there's always change in the NFL.

"It’s the NFL, there are a lot of changes in the NFL. I was very thankful for Tyrod being here last year. I learned a lot from him. He was a tremendous leader, tremendous work ethic he had. I learned a lot from that and I just wish him the best."

Off season workouts for the Bills got underway Monday at the team's facility in Orchard Park.
