Buffalo completed a season sweep of its AFC East rival with the victory in South Florida.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — BILLS VS. DOLPHINS - Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, FL

FIRST QUARTER

The Bills score on the opening drive as Stephen Hauscka connects on a 51-yard field goal.  He had missed his previous five attempts from 50-yards or more and missed two including a 53-yarder that would have tied the game in the loss to the Browns last week.  The Bills defense has been dominant in this game short of the Dolphins converting on a 3rd and 15.  Ed Oliver and Corey Liguet have sacked Ryan Fitzpatrick.  Hauschka connected on a 34-yard field goal as well, as the Bills led 6-0 at the end of the quarter.

SECOND QUARTER

Josh Allen connects with John Brown on a beautifully thrown ball down the right sideline for a 40-yard touchdown capping an 5-play 81-yard drive giving the Bills a 13-0 lead.  The Bills defense continued to dominate, nearly intercepting Fitzpatrick deep in Miami territory and holding the Dolphins to just 11 total yards close to midway through the second quarter.  The Bills then put together a 7-play 62-yard drive capped by a Stephen Hauschka 12-yard field goal.  Allen had a key rush on the drive for 36-yards to the Miami 8 before Buffalo had to settle for a field goal to take a 16-0 lead. Despite moving the football, Allen continued to struggle with accuracy.  Miami finally gets its offense in gear with a five-play 61-yard scoring drive.   The key play was a 50-yard hook-up between  Fitzpatrick and  DeVante Parker to the Buffalo 12.  Kalen Ballage capped it with a three yard TD run to cut the Bills lead to 16-7. Miami caught the Bills by surprise recovering an onside kick,  The Dolphins immediately fumbled and the Bills were able to recover after a successful challenge from Sean McDermott.  The Bills put together a 6-play 75-yard drive capped with Allen throwing 23-yards to tight end Dawson Knox across the middle of the field, extending the Bills lead to 23-7.   Miami strikes again on special teams with Jakeem Grant returning the ensuing kickoff 101-yards for a touchdown.  The Bills led 23-14 at the half.

THIRD QUARTER

The 31 they scored in the first meeting of the year with the Dolphins included a special teams touchdown.

FOURTH QUARTER

The Dolphins put together a 7-play 65-yard drive capped by Jakeem Grant's 7-yard TD.  The Bills defense comes up with a big stop on the two point conversion keeping it a two score game with the lead at 30-20 early in the quarter.  Allen and the Bills respond with an eight play 62-yard with Allen hitting John Brown for a 9-yard TD.  That's Allen's third TD pass of the day with two of them going to Brown, as the Bills took a 37-20 lead.
