BUFFALO, N.Y. — More than 100 volunteers helped to spread some holiday cheer in the Queen City Saturday morning by decorating homes.
"B Team Buffalo," comprised of mainly young professionals, donated some time to hang lights and other decorations for people living in the University District.
The volunteers decked the halls on Winspear, Highgate, and Rounds Avenues. They say it's a simple way to give back to the community around the holidays.
They also organized a children's carnival inside Highgate Heights Elementary School. There was a community tree lighting and carolers.
