BUFFALO, N.Y. — DL&W rail corridor isn't exactly catchy or evocative.

So the Western New York Land Conservancy is announcing a new name for its ambitious project, which seeks to turn 1.5 miles of dormant rail line from the First Ward to South Buffalo into a thriving park that evokes successful projects in Manhattan and Toronto.

The project will be called The Riverline, with three sections that will be named The Del, The Basswoods and The Junctures. For more on this story, please visit the Buffalo Business First website.
