Power restored at Buffalo airport's east end terminal

Crews have restored the power at the east end of the terminal at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Power has been restored at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.

NFTA officials say the power outage at the east end of the terminal began around 5:30 p.m. Friday and it impacted some air travel.

Due to the outage, Southwest Flight 1348 from Baltimore to Buffalo was diverted back to BWI. You can find out more about this flight's new estimated arrival time by clicking here.

NFTA officials say all operations are back to normal as of 6:45 p.m.
