CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY, N.Y. — A man is dead following a tractor accident on Friday afternoon.

New York State Police say a trooper was flagged down while driving on State Route 60 in the town of Pomfret and found a man pinned underneath a tractor.

Investigators say, Daniel Hunt, 50, was driving a 1967 International Tractor on Route 60 when he turned onto a farm access road.  The tractor then dropped into an embankment and rolled into a tree, where Hunt was pinned underneath.

The Chautauqua County Coroner pronounced Hunt dead on the scene.
