BUFFALO, N.Y. - A 31-year old woman is dead after being shot while inside a car on Butler Avenue Thursday afternoon.
Buffalo Police say officers responded to the scene where a pick-up truck hit a tree after the driver, Lakendra Tillmon, suffered a gunshot wound. Police believe multiple shots were fired.
Tillmon was transported to ECMC with serious injuries and police announced her death shortly before midnight Thursday night.
Buffalo Police Captain Jeff Rinaldo tells 2 On Your Side there were three children under the age of ten in the back seat.
