CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — A priest in the Buffalo Catholic Diocese is under investigation.
The Catholic Diocese of Buffalo announced that it is looking into allegations made against Father Jeffrey Nowak.
In a statement released to 2 On Your Side, the diocese said the following:
"A preliminary inquiry has been initiated concerning allegations of inappropriate behavior/unwanted contact."
No further details about the inquiry were released.
Nowak serves as the pastor of Our Lady Help of Christians parish in Cheektowaga.
